Congratulations to Dave Anton, owner-operator of RalliSpec, for winning the 2006 Group N Championship. Dave has been building engines and cars for top contenders in rally for a while, but I'm sure this accomplishment means a lot to him.

Congrats to Chuck on his new steel grey 2006 STi. It's a beautiful machine, one he should enjoy for quite some time.

We were reminiscing about the "old days" when we used to wish that Subaru and Mitsubishi would bring over the kickass cars like the STi and Evo. It's a great time to be a turbocharged AWD enthusiast.

The host provider for the site has been having some electrical problems out in California for the last couple of days. They had a power outage today, so the building switched to backup generators, but then there was a dead short and they lost power again. California has been blistered with heat over the last week.

In other news, I got my electric bill today. Two central air units and a pool really add up...
